This week seemed to drag on. The Jets played great all weekend but this three day break just made the week last forever. The Jets will finally be back in action tonight v.s. the Islanders in a game in which the Jets should win...hopefully.

The Jets will return home tonight again with a record of 2-1-1. This will be the first game of the season between the Islanders and Jets.

Winnipeg earned its second victory of the season in dramatic fashion Friday night, as they rallied after Sidney Crosby scored twice in the first period with three tallies and another in the third for a 4-2 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins in front of a raucous, capacity crowd at the MTS Centre. Jets captain Andrew Ladd gave his club a 3-2 lead late in the second and Blake Wheeler added an empty-net tally with 1:08 remaining in regulation to seal the deal.
