Tonight the Jets finish up their short road swing v.s. the Washington Capitals. Last year the Jets were highly successful v.s. the Capitals and the record was 3-2 in favor of the Jets. The Jets and Caps are know for there good games and tonight looks to be the same. The Jets and Caps are both looking for their first win tonight and this is the home opener for the Capitals. This game is the first of five meetings between these teams and the rivalry between these two teams is only beginning.

With the Jets moving to a new division next year I am very sure that this rivalry will not last very long, but while it is here we may as well sit back and enjoy it. Here are some of the stats for the game tonight.
